My name is Miss Morolake Fabusuyi, I am a single mother of 2 (two) boys. I was working as a nanny in the daycare arm of a school where I had barely enough to eat after the school fees of my second (2nd) son was deducted from my salary. I was always in debts because I was always borrowing to make ends meet. I was practically living from hand to mouth. I came across Show the light International Foundation through Mrs. Chinelo Olayanju who happens to be the Secretary and Legal Adviser of the organization. I was given a form to fill after which 2 (two) representatives of the organization came and interviewed me. After a few months, I was contacted by the organization through Mrs. Chinelo Olayanju and I was informed that I passed the criteria of the women that the organization needed to bring out the light that is dormant in them.
The organization set up a daycare center for me, paid for my house rent and assisted me in enrolling my second (2nd) son into a private secondary school. My rent at the daycare and where I live have been paid for by this organization for 2 (two) years while my son is through with his first year in secondary school and is now in his second (2nd) year and this is all thanks to Show the Light International Foundation. My son’s Mathematics and English Language textbooks for the 2 (two) classes (first and second year in Secondary School), stationeries (exercise books, biro etc) and school uniform were all bought by the organization and handed over to my son.
Show the Light International Foundation helped bring out the light in me by assisting me to become an entrepreneur and this have indeed put a smile on my face.
